I have been quoted a price for a new NH 1720 of $13589, 7308 loader $3413 and 951B mower $920, all excluding 5% Wi. sales tax. Are these prices good, fair, bad? What should I expect to pay? I am aware that this is a discontinued model, however like features, etc. I sent a meesage yesterday to Ritchie and no reply. Do they really quote for out of staters?

Yes, Ritchie Tractor still gives qoutes out of state but you will probably have to call them. I'm from WI also, and recently got a qoute from them over the phone, instantly, on a TC29. BTW I think the 1720 is still being produced, at least my local dealer said he could quote me a price on a new one. Good luck, let us know how you come out. ....

ran a 1720 for about 2 mths with a loader. Neat tractor and strong enough for anything I asked from it. It had a shuttle shift on the column and that was nice. The thing I liked about it was the size, big enough to do the job and still compact enough to get into tight places. You'll be real happy with it. bo ....

I was quoted $16,900 for new NH1720 (4wd w/ Shuttle Shift & Ag Tires) and NH Loader -- in Washington State, before Tax. Sounds like your corresponding quote is about $17,000. In the ballpark. Because they are so close, I suspect we must be getting "MSRP" type quotes(?) ....

Thanks for the update from Wa. I called tractors4u.com and while they no longer quote NH (they are not going to have anymore), they said a good price on NH 1720 would be $13,500. Therefore, $3500 for a loader puts them at $17,000. I still will try to get wheel weights, block heater, something thrown in by the Dealer. I feel they are still making a couple of buck$. Also, waithing for one more quote. ....

THATS MY FINAL ANSWER! Just closed the deal on a NH 1720, 4WD, SSS, $12,426, 7308 Loader w/60" bucket, $3110 and wheel weights, $487. Dealer located one at the depot so had no carrying cost, etc. vs. a dealer quoting higher price for unit he had on his lot. Can't wait for delivery! ....
